A. Probably, Most manufactures say yes, it can be for a limited speed and limited distance.

Q. My car is all-wheel-drive, does it require a flatbed tow truck?

A. No. Conventional tow trucks are capable of lifting all wheels off the road.

Q. My car is lowered, can it still be towed?

A. Yes, most lowered cars can be safely towed with a conventional tow truck.

Q. There are so many makes and models, how do you remember each vehicle's towing procedure?

A.Every manufacturer establishes towing guidelines. Several companies compile these guidelines as an annual publication which is standard equipment for today's tow truck driver.

Q. Is towing rough on my car?

A. No. Quite the opposite. Since your car is lifted by it's tires, it is riding on your own suspension And the tow trucks suspension absorbs most of the bumps.

Q.Do tow truck drivers have special training?

A. Yes. Our drivers begin by receiving a week of intensive specialized training at the WreckMaster training school, then they are teamed with an experienced driver on the job until able to perform every aspect of the job with competence. Finally they are tested and certified by the Towing and Recovery Association of America. Drivers must also attend annual training refresher courses to brush-up and learn new techniques.

Q. Do tow truck drivers need a special license?

A. Yes. our company requires drivers to have a flawless driving record and attend annual defensive driving classes.

Q.Are tow trucks inspected for road worthiness?

A. Yes. Since our trucks are approved to tow for the Washington State Patrol, our trucks must pass a WSP inspection and a DOT inspection annually.

Q. Does it cost more to get towed on a weekend or a holiday?

A. No. We actually prefer the lighter weekend traffic because we can finish your tow quicker.

Q. I've heard that it's better to let my insured car go to the tow yard after an accident, why?

A. There are several reasons. 1. You do not have to pay the tow bill. 2. The insurance adjuster will inspect your car and other cars involved sooner to avoid storage fees. 3. No ugly wreck at your house.

Q. Can you unlock my car with electric locks or side-impact airbags?

A. Yes. Our drivers are trained locksmiths who carry an ever increasing array of vehicle unlocking tools. Never let an untrained person attempt to unlock your vehicle! Your door's internal mechanisms and wires can be damage.
